Students who successfully complete all course requirements of the Non-thesis Program can apply for transfer to the Thesis Program

provided that they satisfy the following conditions: 

-          Minimum GPA of 3.60 in the Mechatronics Engineering Non-thesis Graduate Program

-          ALES Quantitative of 85 or GRE equivalent  

-          Support letter from the academic advisor with whom the thesis studies will be carried out 

-          Applications to be filed 15 days before the end of the semester  

All courses taken in the Non-thesis Program are transferred to the Thesis Program. 

The students have to complete MECA 579, MECA 593 and MECA 594 courses and defend their thesis in 3 semesters.

Students who cannot successfully defend their thesis can apply for the Mechatronics Engineering Non-Thesis Graduate Program diploma.
